The reunion activities will take place at the beautiful Oak Brook Hyatt Regency Hotel. They have been especially helpful in providing us with a special double room-rate of $79 per night +7% sls tax. This includes a full buffet breakfast for two in the Horseradish Café.  Reserve Rooms directly with the Hyatt by calling 800.233.1234 and requesting the special Wurlitzer Reunion group rate. Reservations must be made no later than Monday, July 21, 2003 for this special rate to apply. We strongly suggest that you make your reservations immediately. We have committed to a limited number of rooms and need confirmed attendees in order to make future adjustments.

The Oak Brook Hyatt Regency features 423 beautifully appointed guest rooms, two superb restaurants, a coffee bar, and a sports bar lounge. You can relax in the indoor pool or whirlpool, unwind at one of the two sun decks, or work -out in the fitness center. Nearby, there is tennis, golf or jogging opportunities or you can walk across the street to the adjacent Oakbrook Center Mall. The Hyatt is minutes away from Drury Lane dinner theater, Brookfield Zoo and casino riverboats.

The special Friday afternoon bus excursion is going to be a treat for those who have traveled to Europe and appreciate the beautiful and ornate buildings. The optional trip to The Victorian Palace, home of the Jasper Sanfilippo collection of beautifully restored antique music machines, phonographs, arcade and gambling machines, chandeliers, art glass plus much, much more, will be a highlight of the reunion.  The Palace is home of the worlds largest restored five manual Mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ.       CLICK FOR MORE PHOTOS

OAK BROOK CENTER MALL - is across the street from the Hyatt. It's a great place to do some shopping at the 160 specialty stores. The major anchors include Marshall Fields, Lord & Taylor, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Sears. The mall also has several restaurants and the Oakbrook Movie Theatre.

Friday evening from 9:00 PM to Midnight at Club Wurlitzer (our private hospitality room).  Many of you will remember Judy and her wonderful performances at prior Wurlitzer functions.

Judy, a popular Chicago area entertainer, is known for her sensual vocals, a hard-swinging piano style, rapid-fire scat singing and plenty of charisma and charm.  Judy's repertoire ranges from vintage songs such as "I've Got a Crush on You" and "Fever" to bebop classics such as "Oleo" and "Cottontail" plus Antonio Carlos Jobim's sensuous bossa novas. Her jazz repertoire includes the songs of Duke Ellington, Cole Porter and the Gershwins, bebop, ballads, and favorites from The Great American Songbook.  Roberts has appeared in concerts, festivals and clubs in every major U.S. city, as well as in Europe,  Japan, and China.  Her recent CD, "In the Moment," was nominated for a 2003 Grammy award in the jazz nominations.
